it may be noted that by virtue of the Memorandum of Understanding penned down in the midst of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR), six university faculties have been pronounced as to the Model Faculties for Reconciliation in the context of Sri Lanka ever since circa late 2017 and the Faculty of Engineering, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) is a Faculty for the such.
