Explore Club of the University of Peradeniya visited South Eastern University recently during their 10 day tour to North and East Provinces to see for themselves of the natural beauties of the areas and to assess the present situation of the coastal belts and the rapid changes taking place in those areas.

The team headed by Nalaka Ellandeniya and consisting of 9 members commenced their journey on 14^th July to Mullaithivu and arrived the Oluvil Campus of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka on 22^nd July. Vice-Chancellor Professor MMM Najim and Registrar H.Abdul Saththar welcomed the members of the "Explore Club" and held a lively and cordial discussions centered on the natural back ground of the University with the surrounding of sea on the east, paddy field on the west, Kali Odai river on the South and Coconut groves on the North.
