The blood Donation Campaign on the theme "Tears of a mother cannot save her child but your blood can" organized by the Faculty of Applied Science's Student Union of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka was held at the FAS Auditorium in Sammanthurai recently. A large number of students of all three communities, academic and non academic Staff of the University responded to the call very favourably.

A Medical Team consisting of Dr. LG Jeyathra and Dr. KMCS Perera of of the Blood Units of the Sammanthurai Base Hospital and Ampara General Hospital played a major role in the Campaign held under the guidance of the Vice Chancellor Prof MMM Najim.

Dean of the Faculty Dr. MIS Safeena and Senior Lecturer Dr.K.Komathiraj extended their fullest support and assistance to conduct this campaign very successfully.
