Certificate Awarding ceremony of "Youth Leadership Development Programme" on the theme Leadership is the mission sponsored by UNDP and conducted by Career Guidance Unit (CGU) of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka was held recently at the FIA Auditorium.

The progrmme chaired by the Director of the CGU MSM. Jalaldeen was attended by the Vice Chancellor of SEUSL Prof. MMM Najim as Chief Guest and gave away the certificates to those who have completed their training prorammes . UNDP Representative Dhanaraj, Additional Government Agent MI. Ameer Ali participated as Special Guest and Divisional Secretaries MM Nazeer (Irakamam), NMM. Muzarrath (Pottuvil), A.Mansoor (Sammanthurai) and S.jegarajan (Thirukovi) graced the occasion as guests of honour.

Addressing the occasion chief guest Porf. Najim thanked the CGU and the UNDP for organizing this worthy training proramme which paves the way for a sound personality of youths and their ale leadership. Forty seven youths from various Divisional Secretariat areas of the District who had successfully completed training programmes were distributed with the certificates.
