Buddhist Community in South Eastern University of Sri Lanka celebrated Vesak in a fitting manner with the participation of the students of other community students. "Vesak Koodu" with Colourful bulbs and Oil Lamps were lit at the entrance leading towards Administrative Block and other important joints.

A special "Bodhi Pooja" too was organized to mark the event at the Buddhist Shrine Room where a large number Buddhist students were present.
