A two day Workshop for Staff on effective Communication and Inter Personal Skills - IDAS/FIA organized by the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka was held at the Computer Lab of FIA at on Tuesday and Wednesday (29^th and 30^th September).

The objective of the Workshop was to provide Staff with range of new techniques effective communication which would help them to communicate effectively was inaugurated by the Grant Co- Coordinator IDAS/FIA Dr.MIM Jazeel.

Senior Lecturer in English, Language Department of Eastern University Dr. J Kennedy played a major role as the main resource person of the Workshop and touched upon the areas of building up their confidence in communication, developing interpersonal skills of giving and receiving feedback, adopt strategies to develop their ability to overcome barriers in communication and enhance their professionalism at FIA/SEUSL.
