The ceremony organized by the Sinhala Literary Organization of the University with the blessing of the Vice Chancellor Prov. MMM Najim was held at the specially prepared and decorated pavilion in the Exam hall of South Eastern University . More than 12 Numbers of the Buddhist Monks participated in the Maha Dhana (Alms giving- Especially prepared food for the priests) ceremony. This Ceremony organized by Sinhala literature association of South Eastern University.
In view of the Ceremony University premises were decorated with colourful illuminations and decorations and Buddhist students of the University played a major role in this programme
