A Grand "Thaipongal" ceremony stressing the community amity, peace and harmony organized by the Faculty of Technology was held at the Faculty Auditorium in the presence of the student's population belonging to all three communities of the Faculty on Thursday.

Hindu students played a major role in organizing this ceremony with the readily support of the Buddhist, Muslim Christian students.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of Dean of the Faculty Dr.MG Thariq and was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. MMM Najim as Chief Guest. Registrar, Deans, Librarian, Senior Asst. Registrars, Asst.Registrars, Heads of Departments and other lecturing staff too graced the occasion.

A large number of students community too were present and were served with delicious Pongal.
