How to submit your article

Send the document format (Doc.) of your article to: sljais@seu.ac.lk

All submissions should be preceded by a header containing the title of the manuscript and certain information about it, the name(s) of the author(s), any affiliations, mail and e-mail addresses, and telephone numbers.

Depending on the opinion of the editorial team or external experts, articles will be either recommended for publication without alteration, or with minor or major revision, or declined.

Submission criteria

Articles should contain a significant element of original research. They must not be under review with another journal. They must not have been published elsewhere (including online or in a different form or different language). Articles must be in a complete form at the time of submission, including full bibliographical references.

Focus

The aim of the Sri Lankan Journal of Arabic and Islamic Studies (SLJAIS) is to encourage scholarly research in Arabic and Islamic Studies and Muslim contemporary issues. SLJAIS provides a venue for academics, and researchers to publish current and significant research works. The specific objectives of the journal are: Offering a forum for publishing high quality research on Arabic and Islamic Studies, providing new ideas and philosophical findings regarding current Arabic and Islamic studies problems and promoting greater knowledge sharing between various scholars in Arabic and Islamic Studies around the world.
