Sri Lankan Journal of Arabic and Islamic Studies (SLJAIS)

The SLJAIS is a bi-annual journal published in E - version. There will be two issues for each volume in a year. "Issue - 1" covers the months from January to June, “issue – 2” covers the months from July to December.

Efforts will be taken to deposit the digital version in the e-repository of the South Eastern University library so that the articles will become ‘visible’ to all who search online.

Focus

The aim of the Sri Lankan Journal of Arabic and Islamic Studies (SLJAIS) is to encourage scholarly research in Arabic and Islamic Studies and Muslim contemporary issues. SLJAIS provides a venue for academics, and researchers to publish current and significant research works. The specific objectives of the journal are: Offering a forum for publishing high quality research on Arabic and Islamic Studies, providing new ideas and philosophical findings regarding current Arabic and Islamic studies problems and promoting greater knowledge sharing between various scholars in Arabic and Islamic Studies around the world.
