This museum charges entrance fee as follows:

Adult Ticket Rs. 20/=

Student Ticket Rs. 10/=

This Cultural Museum expects to educate the present generation and the posterity especially the students regarding the rich heritage and cultural values of Sri Lanka. We welcome your visit to this cultural Museum to realize and admire the past glittering glory of our ancestors who have lived in Sri Lanka.

These collections are basically from the Eastern region of Sri Lanka. However, various attempts have been made to collect artefacts from other part of the island to make it a standard Cultural Museum depicting the tradition and culture of the Sri Lankan Societies as a whole. We would be very glad to receive artefacts, manuscripts and articles of cultural value in your possession as a handsome donation to this Cultural Museum.
