Ransomware is the fastest growing malware threat, targeting users of all types from the home users to
the cooperate network. It is designed to encrypt your data and then block access to the system until you
paid a ransom. Its worldwide threats nowadays and its reported that it mostly spread though phishing
emails. Here we suggest some best practices to prevent the all kind of malware
1. Take backup of your sensitive data (Ex: pen drive, portable hard drive or cloud)
2. Update your operating system, antivirus, software
3. Don't click any website links in emails even it's from known
4. Don't go to visit and download from unfamiliar websites (For: software, songs and movies)
5. Don't use Administrative account for the daily use
6. Don't install any unwanted, unnecessary software in computers
7. Don't install any cracked software

1. Disconnect your computers from the network
2. Scan your hard drive with antivirus software
3. Formatting and reinstalling in really bad incidents
