Dear Researcher/ Scholar,

The Sri Lankan Journal of Arabic and Islamic Studies (SLJAIS) is an international, Google scholar indexed, peer-reviewed, open access, academic journal covering all aspects of Arabic and Islamic Studies and related subjects. The main purpose of the journal is to promote the Arabic and Islamic Studies through the publication of research articles.

The SLJAIS is a biannual journal published in the digital version. There will be two issues for each volume in a year. "Issue - I" covers the months from January to June and "Issue - II" covers the months from July to December. Efforts will be taken to deposit the digital version in the e-repository of the South Eastern University library so that the articles will become ‘visible’ to all who search online.

The prospective authors are hereby invited to submit articles for peer review and publication in the upcoming issues of the Sri Lankan Journal of Arabic and Islamic Studies. Focus

The aim of the Sri Lankan Journal of Arabic and Islamic Studies (SLJAIS) is to encourage scholarly research in Arabic and Islamic Studies and Muslim contemporary issues. SLJAIS provides a venue for academics, and researchers to publish current and significant research works. The specific objectives of the journal are: Offering a forum for publishing high quality research on Arabic and Islamic Studies, providing new ideas and philosophical findings regarding current Arabic and Islamic studies problems and promoting greater knowledge sharing between various scholars in Arabic and Islamic Studies around the world.
