Introduction

The Science Library is a branch of the Main library of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka located at Faculty of Applied Sciences (FAS), Sammanthurai which is 20 Km away from the Main Library at Oluvil. The Science Library delivers customer focused quality information products, services and programmes for students and staff of the Faculty of Applied Sciences. The collections and services of the library are designed to match the needs of undergraduate programmes, basic and advance research of the students and faculty members. Circulation services of the library are fully automated. This library provides electronic information in addition to the usual print resources. Digital Library of FAS provides gateway for research papers and publications of faculty members, past exam papers etc. Science library serves for the total population of FAS, i.e. 456 including 365 undergraduate students, 27 academic staff, 16 supporting, & 48 nonacademic staff.
