Centre for Gender Equity and Equality (CGEE)

Centre for Gender Equity and Equality (CGEE) has been established at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka with the aim of promoting gender mainstreaming among the university communities of staff and students, prevent ragging as well as sexual and gender based violence.
CGEE of SEUSL is under the direct supervision of the Vice-chancellor. All activities of the centre is regulated and monitored by the Standing Committee of Gender Equity and Equality of the university. The composition is the committee is defined in the by-law of SGBV of SEUSL.
