QUIZ COMPETITION 2023:

Varsity Battles 2023: Faculty of Arts and Culture Wins 1st and 2nd Place at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka. The Faculty of Arts and Culture (FAC) at the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) achieved remarkable success at the Varsity Battles 2023 inter-faculty quiz competition, winning both 1st and 2nd place. The competition, organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) and the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE), was held on 19th October, 2023.

The FAC team that won 1st place received a cash prize of Rs. 75,000, while the team that won 2nd place received certificates. The Faculty of Technology team was also awarded certificates for being the 2nd runner-up. This is the first time that the FAC has achieved such a remarkable achievement in the Varsity Battles competition. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students and staff of the faculty.

Further, greatest appreciation is awarded to the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Culture (FAC) in recognition of the motivation and guidance rendered to the winning team. We must convey our gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, SEC, CSE, and Event Coordinator Prof. AMM. Musthafa, Head and staff of the Department of Economics and Statistics, for their leadership and support.
